Theodoros 216 was possibly a protospatharios; owner of a seal of uncertain date, possibly seventh, eighth or ninth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 518a. His name is in the form of a monogram, interpreted as Θεοδώρου. Of his title only the four Greek letters Προτ remain. This suggests a title like protector, characteristic of the sixth or seventh century, rather than one of the later Byzantine forms.
