Theodoros 183 was a patrikios and strategos; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2450A. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with the name Θε - ο[δ] - ωρ - ω in the corners. Rev.: cruciform monogram of πατρικιω with (και) στ - ρα - τη - γω in the corners. The name and titles read: Θεοδώρῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ. Seven other seals, Zacos and Veglery 2451a-g, with similar texts, may have belonged to this same person (see Zacos and Veglery, p. 1328) but slight differences among them make it possible that they were owned by three other Theodoroi (2451a-e, f and g; see Zacos and Veglery, p. 1330). Obv. (a and b): cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω. Obv. (c,d,e,f,g): cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - δου - λω - σου. The reverses of all seven seals have the text: Θεοδωρω πατρικιω (και) στρατιγω (or similar), with varying line divisions and ornamentation. Cf. also Theodoros 143.
