Theodoros 179 was a scriniarius, at Rome; in 855 he was arrested in the Campus Neronis, together with the superista of the Lateran palace, Gratianus (Gratianos 2), by the envoys of the Frankish emperor Louis II (Lodoïchos 1) and the partisans of Anastasios 25 (Anastasius Bibliothecarius) who opposed the bishop elect of Rome, Benedict III (Benediktos 7): Lib. Pont. 106. 11 ("Gratianum ... atque Theodorum scriniarium adprehendentes").
