Theodoros 173 was the father of pope Hadrian I (Hadrianos 1); he was a member of a leading Roman family (his son was "nobilissimi generis prosapia ortus atque potentissimis romanis parentibus editus"): Lib. Pont. 97. 1. He died when Hadrianos 1 was still a child and was survived by his widow: Lib. Pont. 97. 2. The family owned property near Veii, including an estate called Capracorum: Lib. Pont. 97. 54 (and see Hadrianos 1). They lived in the Via Lata region at Rome: Lib. Pont. 97. 1.
