Theodoros 108 was a genikos kommerkiarios of the apotheke of Mesembria; owner of a seal, dateable to 698/699 or 713/714 (see below): DOSeals I 77.9 = Zacos and Veglery 200a. Obv.: Ι(νδικτίων) ιβ'. Θεο... . Rev.: καὶ γε[νι]κοῦ κομ[μ]ερκιαρί[ου] ἀποθήκης Μεσ[ημβρίας ]. There was a single emperor (depicted on the obverse) and a twelfth indiction suggests Tiberios III or Anastasios II, in 698/699 or 713/714; see further Nesbitt and Oikonomides, DOSeals I, p. 176, note, and see also Synetos 1 and Niketas 6. The name, beginning with the letters "Theo", could have been Theodoros, Theodoulos, Theodosios or Theophanes.
