Theodoros 44 was bishop of Adramyttion in Asia; in 681 he attended the last session of the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) (on 16 September): Riedinger, pp. 758-829 (= Mansi XI 627-682). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Θεόδωρος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Ἀδραμυτηνῶν πόλεως τῆς Ἀσιανῶν ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger, p. 788, line 3 (= Mansi XI 648). The old Latin version printed in Riedinger calls his see "Adramiti ciuitatis Asiane regionis: Riedinger, p. 789, line 3 (= Mansi XI 647). In the signatures to the Council he is styled Θεόδωρος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Ἀδραμυτοῦ τῆς Ἀσίας: Riedinger, p. 829, line 6 (= Mansi XI 681). The old Latin version, printed here only in the Mansi edition, calls his see "Adramytenae civitatis Asianae regionis": Mansi XI 682. In the list of those present at the session he is styled Θεοδώρου ἐπισκόπου Ἀδραμυτοῦ: Riedinger, p. 758, line 23 (= Mansi XI 628) (the Latin version at Riedinger, p. 759, line 24 (= Mansi XI 627) calls him "episcopo Adramitino").
