Theodoros 17 was bishop of Vercellae (in N. Italy); he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger, p. 150, lines 20-22 (= Mansi XI 307- 308) (Θεόδωρος ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Βερκελένσου; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger, p. 15 calls his see "sanctae ecclesiae Bertelensis").
