Theodoretos 1 was the patriarch of Antioch in 787; he was represented at the Seventh Ecumenical Council by his synkellos, the monk and priest Ioannes 15: Ignatios, Vita Tarasii 28, cf. Photius, Ep. 1, line 378 (I 13 Laourdas-Westerink) (he was patriarch of Antioch at the time of the seventh ecumenical Council at which he was represented by Thomas; cf. Thomas 4). See Ioannes 15. He was patriarch by 787 but for how long is unknown; see Grumel, Chronologie, p. 447.
