Theocharistos 1 was illoustrios; owner of two seals dateable to the seventh or eighth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 363 and 364. The texts read: Θεοχαρίστου ἰλ[λο]υστ[ρ]ίο[υ].

Possibly identical with Theocharistos illoustrios who in 642 travelled from Africa to Constantinople to deliver a letter from Maximos 10 the Confessor to a cubicularius: Max. Conf., Ep. 44 (PG 91. 644D) and see PLRE III, p. 1225, Theocharistus 2.
