Symeon 20 was metropolitan bishop of Laodikeia; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the ninth century: Zacos II 897. Obv.: bust of Virgin with medallion of Child, with the legend +ὑπεράγια Θεοτόκε βοήθ.... . Rev.: +Συμε - ωνι μητρ - οπολιτη - Λαοδικεια - ς αμην. For a similar seal, see Konstantopoulos, JIAN 5 133a. Probably identical with Symeon 32. Since he was a metropolitan bishop, his see was Laodikeia in Phrygia.
