Symeon 5 was one of the monks who was with Peter of Atroa (Petros 34) at Kalon Oros in Lydia; while felling trees with the other brothers to build cells he was crushed and killed; Petros 34 supposedly restored him to life and he survived for another twenty years: Vita Petr. Atr. 22, p. 119. This apparently occurred during the persecution under Leo V (Leo 15).
