Strategios 12 was a basilikos spatharios and paraphylax of Nikaia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 59.4 = Zacos and Veglery 2400. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Στρατ - ηγιω β' σπα - θ' και παραφ - υλ' Νικεα'. The name and titles read: Στρατηγίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ παραφύλακι Νικαίας.
