Stephanos 153 was kentarchos of Abydos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 40.3. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: [+]Στε - .αν' κεν - .αρχ' τις - .βυδ'. The name and title read: Στε[φ]άνῳ κεν[τ]άρχῳ τῖς [Α])βύδου.
