Stephanos 75 was asekretis; author of verses which were inscribed on the wall of the Pyxites, one of the triklinoi built by the emperor Theophilos (Theophilos 5) close to the Sigma (τούτου δὴ Πυξίτου κατὰ τὴν πλευρὰν στίχοι λελατόμηνται, ἀσηκρῆτις ὄντες γεννήματα Στεφάνου μὲν ἔχοντος τοὔνομα, οὕτω δὲ τοῦ Καπετωλίτου προσαγορευομένου): Theoph. Cont. III 43 (p. 143). Other verses mentioned here were by the patriarch Ignatios 1; perhaps Stephanos 75 was a contemporary of Ignatios 1.
