Staurakios 27 was basilikos spatharios and archon of Strobilos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals II 80.1. Obv.: patriarchal cross on steps, with a circular inscription: Κεβοηθητοσωδουλω. Rev.: +Στα - βρακηο βα - σπαθαρηω και - αρχω Στρο - βηλου. The beta is in the form of a capital R, indicating a date not earlier than the first half of the ninth century. The name and titles read: Σταβρακήο βα(σιλικῷ) σπαθαρήῳ καὶ ἄρχω(ντι) Στροβήλου. The first title could also be read as: β(ασιλικῷ) πρωτοσπαθαρήῳ.
