Staurakios 17 was koubikoularios and parakoimomenos; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2379. The name and titles read: Σταυρακίῳ κουβικουλαρίῳ καὶ παρακοιμωμένῳ. According to Seibt, Bleisiegel, p. 162, the date could be the second quarter of the eighth century. Cf. Christophoros 15. Possibly a eunuch, to judge by his titles.
