Souphlamios 1's slave boy (or possibly his young son - τὸ ... τοῦ Σουφλαμίου παιδάριον; perhaps a baby) is said to have been sacrificed by the emperor Constantine V (Konstantinos 7) during demon worship at the Maura: Vita Steph. Iun. 165, 20 (1169D), cf. Georg. Mon. 752, 8-11 (where a version\n of this story is given. Cf. also Anonymus 258. The author of the Life of Stephen the Younger, Stephen the Deacon, mentions the fact but gives no further details.
