Sisinnios 53 was metropolitan bishop of Perge; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century (DOSeals), or to the seventh century (Zacos and Veglery), or possibly to the late seventh or early eighth (Laurent): DOSeals II 75.1 = Zacos and Veglery 1002 = Laurent, Corpus V 3, no. 1744. Obv.: + - Σισιν - ιου μη - τροπολ - ιτ.υ. Rev.: Περγ - ης. The name and title read: Σισιν(ν)ίου μητροπολίτου Πέργης. If the seal were eighth century in date, the owner could be identical with the iconoclast bishop, Sisinnios 27 Pastillas; see Gero, Iconoclasm, II, pp. 56-57, n. 11.
