Sergios 111 was archbishop of Cyprus; in May 643 (cf. Conc. Lat., p. 64, line 12) he wrote a letter about the monothelete heresy to the bishop of Rome, Theodoros 49, which was read out at the Lateran Council in 649: Conc. Lat., p. 60, lines 12-13 (Σεργίου τοῦ ἀρχιεπισκόπου τῆς Κυπρίων νήσου; the letter was written seven years earlier, in the recent first indiction) with p. 61, lines 11-12 ("suggestionem Sergii Cypriensis archiepiscopi"), p. 60, line 20 with p. 61, line 18, p. 60, line 31 with p. 61, line 29, p. 64, lines 20-21 with p. 65, lines 19-20.
