Sergios 102 was a notarios; he was the addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite) written in 816/817; he rejected iconoclasm and cultivated contacts with the champions of Orthodoxy (i.e. those who supported the veneration of icons): Theod. Stud., Ep. 185, p. 307 (addressed Σεργίῳ νοταρίῳ).
