Sergios 83 was basilikos koubikoularios; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2349A. Obv.: cruciform mnogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with [τ]ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Σεργ - ηω βαση - [λ]ηκ' κο[υ] - [β]ηκουλ - [α]ριω. The name and title read: Σεργίῳ βασιλικῷ κουβικουλαρίῳ. He was possibly a eunuch.
