Sergios 26 was a chartoularios; owner of a seal dateable to the iconoclast period (VIII/M IX): Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 225, no. 313. Obv.: cruciform invocative monogram in the name of the Virgin. Rev.: Σέργιος χαρτουλάριος. Possibly identical with Sergios chartoularios who owned a similar seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2349. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - δου - λω - σου in the corners. Rev.: Σερ - γιου (sic) χα - ρτουλ - αριω. The name and title read: Σεργίου χαρτουλαρίῳ.
