Sergios 25 held the office of apo eparchon; owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century: Tsougarakis, SBS 2, p. 152, no. 63 = Schlumberger, Sig., p. 511, no. 14. Obv.: Virgin and Child with monograms of Θεοτόκε and βοήθει. Rev.: Σεργίῳ ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων. Probably found in Crete; it was in the collection of Michael Tsibourakis, mainly formed in Crete, and is now in the museum of Chania; Tsougarakis, SBS 2, p. 162, n. 27. Possibly identical with Sergios apo eparchon who owned two similar seals both dateable to the seventh or eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2981, Likhachev, IZIGI, Appendix 18, no. 7. The name and title read: Σεργίῳ ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων.
