Sergios 20 was basilikos spatharokandidatos and kommerkiarios of Cherson; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: DOSeals I 82.5.

Probably owner of another very similar seal, dateable to the ninth or tenth century, of which three specimens are published: DOSeals I 82.6, Zacos II, no. 886 (dated M/L IX) (both from the same boulloterion), Sokolova, "Pechati Khersonskoi Femy", p. 229, no. 4 (and cf. Sokolova, Monety, no. 23). Obv.: bust of Virgin with medallion of Child, with the legend Θ(εοτό)κε βοήθ(ει) τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. The name and titles read:

He is possibly identical with Sergios kandidatos and spatharios and kommerkiarios of Cherson, of whom several seals exist; see Sokolova, Monety, nos. 21-22.
