Sergios 6 was son of Barnoukios 1 and patrikios of Lazike (Σέργιος, ὁ πατρίκιος τῆς Λαζικῆς, ὁ τοῦ Βαρνουκίου); in 697 he revolted from the Romans and subjected Lazike to the Arabs: Theoph. AM 6189.
