Sergia 1 was the wife of a synkletikos (Anonymus 220); ill and despairing of her life, Sergia sent for St Evarestos (Evarestos 1); her husband begged Evarestos 1 to pray for her; he advised him to accept the will of God, but prayed and Sergia 1 unexpectedly recovered: Vita S. Evaristi 32 (pp. 316-317). See further Anonymus 220.
