Romanos 7 was a protospatharios; owner of a seal of uncertain date, possibly ninth or tenth century; his family name was Nabatopolos: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 666a. The text reads: [Ῥ]ομανῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ τῷ Να[β]ατοπόλῳ.
