Radoald 3 was the father of pope Leo IV (Leo 121): Lib. Pont. 105. 1. Presumably he was a native of Rome, like his son ("natione Romanus"). Owner of a property at Rome which Leo 121 subsequently converted into a nunnery: Lib. Pont. 105. 58 ("in ede propria ... quam ex iure parentum suorum sibi etenim accesse videbatur").
