Prokopios 16 was a basilikos spatharios and logothetes of the Agelai; owner of a seal dateable between the mid eighth century and the mid ninth (Zacos and Veglery), possibly to the late eighth or early ninth (Laurent): Zacos and Veglery 2339 = Laurent, Corpus II no. 580. The name and titles read: Προκοπίῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ λογοθέτῃ τῶν ἀγέλων.
