Prokopios 10 was a patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Sicilia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 214, n. 2, no. 5 (formerly published in Salinas, "Sigilli diplomatici" VI, p. 97, no. 18). The text as recorded by Schlumberger reads as follows: Θεοτόκε βοήθει (in cruciform monogram) τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Προκοπ(ίῳ) πατρικ(ίῳ) β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)σπαθαρ(ίῳ) (καὶ) στρα(τηγῷ) Σικελ(ίας).

Borsari, "Sicilia", p. 145, identifies this man with the owner of Borsari, "Sicilia", no. 10 (undated; obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - [δ]ου - λω in the corners; rev.: Προκο - [πιω] πατρι - [κ' β'] σπαθ - [αρ'] (καὶ) στρα' - Σικε'); cf. also Borsari, "Sicilia", no. 11 (undated; obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners; rev.: +Π[ρο]κ - οπιω πατ - ρικ' β' α'σπα - θαρ' (καὶ) στρ - ατ' Σικ'); see Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 88. Another seal perhaps also owned by the same person is published in Likhachev, Molivdovuly LIX 7 (M-8011); the name and titles read: Προκοπίῳ πατρικίῳ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ Σικελίας.
