Pothetos 1 was a kommerkiarios of Loupadion; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 55.22. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Ποθ - τω κομ - κιαριω - ουπ'. The name and title perhaps read: Ποθ[η]τῷ κομ[ερ]κιαρίῳ [Λ]ουπαδίου.
