Polyeuktos 1 was bishop of Myra in Lycia; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last nine sessions (sessions ten to eighteen, from 18 March to 16 September): Riedinger II 2. 280-824 (= Mansi XI 389-672). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, and to the Council, he is styled Πολύευκτος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Μυρέων μητροπόλεως τῆς Λυκίων ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger II 2. 782, line 15, 824, line 3, cf. 892, lines 29-30 (= Mansi XI 644, 672, cf. 692). In the lists of those attending each session he is styled Πολυεύκτου ἐπισκόπου Μύρων τῆς Λυκίας: Riedinger II 2. 280, line 26, 404, line 1, etc. (= Mansi XI 389, 457, etc.). He was among the signatories to the copy of the definition of the faith sent to the bishop of Rome, Agatho 1, signing on behalf of himself and the bishops under him: Riedinger II 2. 892, lines 29-30 (= Mansi XI 692) (ὑπὲρ ἐμαυτοῦ καὶ τῆς ὑπ'ἐμὲ συνόδου). His name occurs in the list printed in Riedinger II 2. 732, line 19 (= Mansi XI 693).

Probably identical with Polyeuktos, metropolitan bishop of an unnamed see and owner of a seal dateable to the seventh century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 945. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Πολυεύκτου. Rev.: cruciform monogram of μητροπολίτου.
