Ploutinos 1 was a basilikos strator; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century: Seibt, Bleisiegel I, no. 204. Obv.: eagle with an invocative monogram (of unusual type) of Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Rev.: +Πλ<ο> - υτινου - β(ασιλικοῦ) στρ(άτορος). Seibt lists other seals owned by men called Ploutinos. Zacos and Veglery 976 specifies one Ploutinos who was a πατρικιος at the same date as 204.
