Plousianos 1 was bishop of Syllaion (Sillyon) (in Pamphylia); in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from 20 March to 16 September): Riedinger II 2. 406-828 (= Mansi XI 460-680). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, and to the Council, he is styled Πλουσιανὸς ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος τοῦ Συλλαίου (so Riedinger II 2. 794, line 12 (= Mansi XI 652); Riedinger II 2. 828, line 14 (= Mansi XI 680) reads: ἐπίσκοπος πόλεως τοῦ Συλλαίου): Riedinger II 2. 794, line 12, 828, line 14 (= Mansi XI 652, 680). In the lists of those present at each session he is styled Πλουσιανοῦ ἐπισκόπου τοῦ Συλλέου: Riedinger II 2. 406, line 29, 520, line 18, etc. (= Mansi XI 460, 521, etc.).
