Philotheos 10 was hypatos and protonotarios of the Opsikion; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 39.46 = Zacos and Veglery 2324a (where the name is read as Philomelos). Obv.: cruciform monogram of uncertain type, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Φιλο.α - ιω υπατω - . α'νοταρ' του - Οψικιου. The name and title read: Φιλο[θ]αίῳ ὑπάτῳ καὶ πρωτονοταρίῳ τοῦ Ὀψικίου. This entry replaces that for Philomelos 1; cf. also Philomates 1.
