Philippikos 2 was a hypatos; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 3044. The name and title read: Φιλιππικῷ ὑπάτῳ. A similar seal (see Zacos and Veglery, note to 3044), possibly belonging to the same person, is Konstantopoulos, JIAN 3, 20.
