Philaretos 6 was a kouropalates; owner of a seal of uncertain date, possibly ninth or tenth century; his family name was apparently "Obra..."(?): Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 387c. The text reads: Φιλαρετο κουροπαλατη [τ]ου Οβρα..., i.e. Φιλαρέτῳ κουροπαλάτῃ τοῦ Ὀβρα.....
