Petros 15 was bishop of Tauromenion in Sicily; he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger II 2. 146, lines 25-27 (= Mansi XI 303- 306) (Πέτρος ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας τοῦ Ταυρομενίου τῆς ἐν Σικελίᾳ; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger II 2. 147, line 20 calls his see "sanctae ecclesiae Tauromenitanae prouinciae Siciliae").
