Peregrinos 2 was bishop of Lipara (Insulae Liparaeae, in Sicily); he attended all five sessions of the Lateran Council, from 5 October to 31 October 649, and in the list of bishops present is named in ninety- second place: Conc. Lat., p. 6, line 21 (Περεγρίνου ἐπισκόπου Λιπάρεως), p. 7, line 21 ("Peregrino Lyparitano episcopo") (the first session), cf. pp. 35, 115, 181 and 251 (the Latin version only is repeated for the other sessions). He subscribed the definition of the faith agreed by the Council at its fifth session: Conc. Lat., p. 400, line 7 (Περεγρῖνος ἐπίσκοπος Λιπάρεως), p. 401, line 7 ("Peregrinus episcopus sanctae Liparitane ecclesiae").
