Paulos 94 was bishop of Herakleia in Pontos; he is named by pope Nicolas I (Nikolaos 28) in a letter to the emperor Michael III (Michael 11) as one of the supporters of the patriarch Ignatios (Ignatios 1): Nicolaus I, Ep. 86 (PL 119, 956B).
