Apparently Paulos 93 was also called Saulos; he defected to iconoclasm and is named first after the iconoclast patriarchs in the lists of people anathematised as iconoclasts in the Synodikon of Orthodoxy; the others named are Theodoros 350, Stephanos 152, Theodoros 66 and Laloudios 1, and the anathema then adds all heretical clergy and laymen of whatever grade, rank or profession: Gouillard, "Synodikon", p. 57, lines 175-179 (Παύλῳ τῷ εἰς Σαῦλον ἀποστρέψαντι; possibly he changed his name from Paulos to Saulos).
