Paulos 82 was a monk at the monastery of Antidios (ὁ ἐκεῖσε μοναχὸς ὤν, ὁ ἡγιάσμενος Παῦλος) at the time when St Ioannikios (Ioannikios 2) was living close by; once when out looking for wood for use in the construction of the Church of St John there Paulos 82 met a crowd of visitors and observed how Ioannikios 2, wishing to evade their attentions, made himself invisible to them: Petrus, Vita Ioannicii 50.
