Paulos 39 was bishop of an unnamed see; owner of a seal dateable to the sixth or seventh century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 1002. Obv.: square monogram with the letters Π, Ο, Υ, Α and R (sic, perhaps for beta), read by Laurent as Παβλου (for Παυλου). The lambda is presumably part of the alpha. Rev.: +επι - σκοπ - ου.
