Paulos 15 was bishop of Sozopolis in Pisidia; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from 20 March to 16 September): Riedinger II 2. 406-794 (= Mansi XI 460- 652). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Παῦλος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος Σωζοπόλεως τῆς Πισιδῶν ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger II 2. 794, line 8 (= Mansi XI 652) (the old Latin version printed in Riedinger II 2. 795, line 9 (= Mansi XI 651) calls his see "
