Paulos 15 was bishop of Sozopolis in Pisidia; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from 20 March to 16 September): Riedinger II 2. 406-794 (= Mansi XI 460- 652). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Παῦλος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος Σωζοπόλεως τῆς Πισιδῶν ἐπαρχίας: Riedinger II 2. 794, line 8 (= Mansi XI 652) (the old Latin version printed in Riedinger II 2. 795, line 9 (= Mansi XI 651) calls his see "ciuitatis Sozopoleos Pisidiae"). His name is missing from the list of subscriptions to the Council. In the lists of those attending each session he is styled Παύλου ἐπισκόπου Σωζοπόλεως Πισιδίας: Riedinger II 2. 406, line 28, 520, line 17, etc.(= Mansi XI 460, 521, etc.). Still bishop in 692, he attended the Quinisext Council in Constantinople and signed the canons: Ohme, Bischofsliste, p. 166, no. 197 (= Mansi XI 1004) (Παῦλος ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς Σωζοπολιτῶν πόλεως τῆς Πισίδων ἐπαρχίας).
