Patrikios 3 was bishop of Ilouza in Pacatiana; in 681 he attended the Third Council of Constantinople (the Sixth Ecumenical Council) and was present at the last eight sessions (sessions eleven to eighteen, from 20 March to 16 September): Riedinger II 2. 406-828 (= Mansi XI 460- 680). In the subscriptions to the statement of the faith, which condemned monotheletism, he is styled Πατρικίου ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος πόλεως Ἰλούζων: Riedinger II 2. 794, line 4 (= Mansi XI 652) (the old Latin version printed in Riedinger II 2. 795, line 5 (= Mansi XI 651) calls his see "ciuitatis Hiluzorum"). In the subscriptions to the Council, he is styled Πατρίκιος ἐλέει Θεοῦ ἐπίσκοπος πόλεως Ἰλούζων ἐπαρχίας Πακατιανῆς: Riedinger II 2. 828, line 5 (= Mansi XI 680) (the old Latin version, at Mansi XI 679, calls his see "civitatis Iluzorum Pacatianae (Cappadociae provinciae)"). In the lists of those attending each session he is styled Πατρικίου ἐπισκόπου Ἰλούζων: Riedinger II 2. 406, line 22, 520, line 11, etc. (= Mansi XI 460, 521, etc.).
