Pardos 4 was basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Thrace; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: DOSeals I 71.33. Obv.: Κ(ύρι)ε βοή(θει) τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: Πάρδ() β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)σπαθ(αρίῳ) (καὶ) στρατ(η)γ(ῷ) τ(ῆς) Θ[ρ]ᾴκ(ης). Nesbitt and Oikonomides note that the last two words could be read as τ(ῶν̓) Θρᾳκ(ησίων) but that this is less likely.
