Pantaleon 12 was basilikos protospatharios and genikos logothetes; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2285 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 305. The name and titles read: Presumably identical with Pantaleon patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and genikos logothetes who owned another seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 2284 = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 306. The name and titles read: It seems that, while serving as genikos logothetes, Pantaleon 12 at first had the dignity of basilikos protospatharios and then acquired in addition that of patrikios. Cf. Zacos and Veglery, Seals and Laurent, Corpus II, notes.
