Nikolaos 70 was basilikos spatharios and chartoularios of the Opsikion; owner of two seals dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 39.2 = Zacos and Veglery 2220a and b. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .ω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: ικολα - β' σπαθ' και χ - .τουλαρ' του - Οψηκ' - .... The name and titles read: Νικολάῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ χαρτουλαρίῳ τοῦ Ὀψικίου.
