Nikolaos 69 was notarios of Ephesos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 14.3 = Zacos and Veglery 2218. Obv.: cruciform monogram, possibly of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with .ω - σω - .ου - .ω in the corners. Rev.: +Νικο - λαω νοτ - αριω - Εφ - .σου. The name and title read: Νικολάῳ νοταρίῳ Ἐφέσου.
