Nikolaos 65 was dioiketes of Samos and Chios; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals II 41.3 = Zacos and Veglery 2216. Obv.: there are faint traces of a cruciform monogram, and the ς of σω. The name and title read: Possibly identical with Nikolaos 59 (the seals may actually be one and the same). Cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 135.
